a love believer

I'm the advice giver, the lend an ear listener, 
the crying girl on a dark school bus of friends and the 
overthinking, 
overcompensating, 
apologetic whimperer 
I am the noticer, 
and the care giver 
I am the person who believes that life is too short, 
but oh how days are too long 
I'm in a pursuit of empathizers 
and tale tellers, 
story makers 
and children's book writers
I don't want door slammers, 
or fairy tale unbelievers, 
happily ever afters becoming 
happily never afters 
I never want to be the beggar, 
the stealer, 
the cheater, 
the lonely eater...
I want to be noticed. 
And not just noticed on almost lost buses, in poems or stories or extra curriculars 
I want to be a love believer
A romantic feeler 
A poetic inspirer. 
I want to be a love believer.
